But I've never had a friend like you...
But soon you will be leaving me,
And I really don't know what to do....
I confronted you nonetheless,
With a lot of confusion and much pain...
So many questions I have.
When will I see you again???
How can it be so short??
The time we have spent together...

How can I say goodbye???
No words, but just tears fall...
Are we gonna meet again??
Perhaps here again; the world is small...
The hardest part of any friendship
Is when it is time to say goodbye...
And even though I wish I can make you stay,
I know I gotta let you spread your wings and fly...
So follow your heart and never give up,
As dreams and wishes do come true..
For I hope that someday we'll meet again,
But until then.....I WILL MISS YOU!!!

Well, I was quite surprised too. Had nominated her for an award when I noted that her last post was titled "Goodbye..."
Anyway, as the French say - c'est la vie!
The poem was fine. Lucid and rich with emotion... I felt the rhyming was forced at some places though. The last stanza, however, was in a league of it's own.
